CUSTOMER REVIEWS
One of the best dining experiences I had in Vietnam. This restaurant offers authentic Hue cuisine that I didn’t really see outside of the city. The restaurant is found in a very local area away, along Nguyen Tri Phuong, away the backpacker area.
We wanted to sample the Vietnamese street food but were too old to squat on our haunches like the locals or get down onto the crazy little plastic chairs they have at the pop-up street cafes, so this café was exactly what we wanted – proper seats and tables, alongside both local people (which is always reassuring!) and tourists.
Food was great, all authentic and plenty of quantity in each serving. If you’re looking for a local authentic eatery you won’t go far wrong with this place. Do prepare yourself for it being pretty busy with locals and tourists, but battling for a seat is well worth it! We will be back!
It is a very local restaurant, there many Vietnamese people eating here. Actually I found the food good but not exceptional. You can try different dishes that are specifically of Hue.
